Explore advanced analysis concepts in digital forensics investigations. Perform forensic analysis of digital evidence retrieved from both current and legacy systems using industry standard commercial and open source tools. Learn how computer forensics analysts focus on collecting and analyzing data from computer systems to track user-based activity that can be internal investigations or civil/criminal litigation. Focus on an in-depth understanding of Windows operating system artifacts. Prerequisite: CTS 207 or CJS 207.
