Learn the fundamental building blocks that form a modern network including protocols, topologies, hardware and network operating systems. Develop the networking knowledge and skills related to TCP/IP, Ethernet, and wireless transmission and security. Learn to maintain and troubleshoot existing local area networks. Prerequisite: CTS 107 . Note: This course addresses the core material of the CompTIA Network+ exam objectives. Students who complete both CTP 103 and CTS 105 prior to Fall 2019 already meet the prerequisite to register for CTS 110 and thus are not required to complete CTS 107.
