A Little More

After spending years partnering with thousands of students on their transfer journey through higher education, Marcus Wright always looks forward to witnessing students achieve their academic goals. Currently serving as the director of transfer, articulation and career alignment at AACC, he has worked with many kinds of students, including first-generation, nontraditional, military and underrepresented populations.

Wright has 14 years of experience working in transfer at universities across Maryland. He is passionate about building transfer pathways for community college students and has an extensive knowledge and understanding of transfer. Wright brings this passion into the classroom as an instructor for both ACA-100 and PSY-100 courses where he gets to work with students in a different way.

When not in the classroom, you might find Wright whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, traveling or chipping away on his latest woodworking project.
