What courses will I take?

AACC's Nail Technician program training consists of four noncredit courses – two theory and two clinical. Upon successful completion, students will have fulfilled the required 250 training hours needed toward eligibility to sit for the Maryland Board of Cosmetologists Nail Technician exam.

What credentials can I earn?

Students who successfully complete the required courses will earn an AACC Continuing Education and Workforce Certificate, and fulfill the required 250 training hours needed toward eligibility to sit for the Maryland Board of Cosmetologists Nail Technician Exam.

 

What are the Requirements?

Students must be at least 16 to register for classes. In order to be eligible to take the license exam you must be at least 17 and have completed ninth grade or have a GED®.

What is the cost?

$4,210 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees.

Where do Classes Meet?

The program is offered in a hybrid format. Some classes will be online and the others at the Center of Applied Technology North (CATN), 800 Stevenson Road, Severn, MD 21144.
